We were recently requested to cater a lunch for Cheshire based SMS marketing company, Mediaburst. I was initially thinking of doing some Indian finger food platters but that was before I read Mediaburst’s “Curry Chef of the Year” blog and I quickly changed my mind. You see, every week for eight weeks, each member of the Mediaburst team cooks a curry for lunch for everyone. It’s a little like “Come Dine With Me” in that they then all score each other, but instead of winning £1000 at the end of the competition, they win the title of being named “Curry Chef of the Year” . Now this might not sound as good to some but to the Mediaburst team, that winning title is so much more valuable than any cash prize. Thus from reading up on this I immediately knew that we were catering for some real curry lovers! That is why I changed my mind and decided on a new specially customised two course menu! I sent it over and I received an email back with their selections. We really enjoyed the experience and it was great to cater for such a lovely group of people. We thought it went well, but to truly find out how it went, I’ll let the team tell you themselves!
