It has been a busy April at The Spice Club! During the first weekend we hosted a private supper club for sisters Emma and Lyndsey who celebrated their 30th birthday with us. We created a bespoke menu for their private dinner party and it went down a treat! We had a brilliant time hosting this special event and received some fantastic feedback from our guests…

The following weekend, after weeks of preparation, we were extremely excited to host our “Indian Feast Pop-Up Restaurant” (our biggest supper club to date!) at New Century House Noma, in the heart of Manchester city centre. We crafted together a superior 5-course menu featuring a diverse range of fresh, flavourful and authentic Indian dishes. As always, we are keen to give our guests the opportunity to enjoy true, home-style Indian fare. And so, the Indian feast was prepared for our diners in precisely the same way we cook for our family at home-with care and attention, no shortcuts and a whole lot of love! I hope the photos give justice representing what was a fantastically memorable evening..

The following week we didn’t have any events in the diary but decided a weekend consisting of devouring plentiful amounts of chocolate Easter eggs would prepare us best for the weekend to follow. What was on the weekend to follow I hear you ask? (If you didn’t ask, just go with the flow here…). The following Friday, The Spice Club made it’s debut at the ever popular Friday Food Fight at Upper Campfield, Castlefield. After visiting as hungry patrons several times, we were beyond excited to be on the other side and were eager to serve up our mouth watering Indian street food menu. We dished up fresh, colourful, spicy, culinary creations including our Chicken Masala Naanwich, Spicy Shami Kebab Burger & Samosa Channa Chaat.  We came prepared to feed hundreds of hungry foodies and left with practically nada! We had a brilliant time and received a lot of positive feedback which we’re so grateful for!  Check out the snaps below for more of an insight of how it went down..

A huge thank you to all who visited us last Friday-we will be back! Also, a big shout out to some of our personal favourite vendors who also served up some top notch grub on Friday including Love from the Streets, Mumma Schnitzel, LaDolce Dolls, & Sugar Rush. If you get the opportunity to try their fantastic food, don’t let it pass!

So..that was April for us. We had a blast hosting all of our events-a genuine heartfelt thank you to everyone for all the love and support you have shown The Spice Club. We wouldn’t be here putting on our events if it wasn’t for you guys! Summer supper club and cookery class dates will be announced in the next couple of weeks. Please make sure you stay posted to our events page or alternatively sign to our Spice Club mailing list to stay notified about our event dates as soon as they are posted.

Hope to see you soon.
