On 10th September we will be hosting our “Bombay Dreams” supper club, where we will be celebrating signature dishes & the street food culture from the amazing city of Bombay. If you decide to book in (which I think you all should), you will be joining us for a wonderful evening of great food inspired by the bustling, colourful streets of Bombay. The 5 course meal features a menu consisting of typical street food and famous delicacies from the city that brings the glitz and glam of Bollywood to the whole world! Batata Vada Chaat
Classic Bombay street snack! Spiced potato cakes coated in gram flour, fried,
and served with home-made mint chutney, tamarind chutney, red onions & fresh coriander
Entrees
Maharashtrian Dhaba Chicken
Roasted chicken cooked in a delicious masala blended with ground sesame seeds and toasted coconut
Spicy Lamb Keema
Minced lamb slow cooked in a spicy onion, garlic and ginger gravy
Pav Bhaji
Mixed vegetables blended in a rich tomato masala garnished with fresh coriander
Bombay Aloo
Potatoes sauteed in red onions, roasted cumin and mango powder
Raita
Yoghurt blended with cucumber, red onions, fresh mint and roasted cumin
(These will be served family style around the table with fresh chapatis and basmati rice)
Dessert
Shreekhand
Bombay inspired dessert made from yoghurt flavoured with cardamom, mango and honey-the perfect palate cleanser
Tea
Elaichi Chai
Cardamom tea served in a glass (true Bombay style!)
